PUG Strip Stack with wooden base. This was another item I’ve been asked to make a few times and have finally finished two versions I’m super happy with!
 
The wooden version has 5 recycled bronze strips (cut from old cymbals) mounted on a piece of hardwood. There are bronze washers (again recycled cymbals) used in mounting the bolts and strips and an adjustment screw either side so you can control the attack and length of the sound.
 
Both the wood and aluminium base versions include a M8 mounting nut on the underside which will screw into any modern cymbal stand.
